Visibility
Make rescue work easier to discover, understand and follow.
ABOUT RESCUEHERO
Built for the people doing the work of animal rescue.
RescueHero is a nonprofit organization building technology to make animal rescue more visible, trusted and supported worldwide.
WHY RESCUEHERO EXISTS
Animal rescue should be easier to see, understand and support.
Rescue work is fragmented across organizations, countries and channels. Sustained discovery, trust and support can therefore be harder than needed. RescueHero creates a clearer bridge between the people doing rescue work and people who want to support it.
Trust
Explain important signals and claims instead of asking people to accept them on faith.
Support
Create practical routes to support rescuers and the wider RescueHero mission.
ONE MISSION
The nonprofit and the app serve the same mission in different ways.
RescueHero the nonprofit leads the mission, while the RescueHero app helps people take part in rescue activity.

HOW WE APPROACH THE MISSION
Principles that keep the mission clear.
RescueHero uses a small set of principles to keep technology, public claims and long-term progress aligned with animal rescue.
Rescue before technology
Technology is the mechanism. Animal rescue is the purpose.
Trust through transparency
Important claims should be inspectable, sourced and explicit about their limits.
Global ambition, evidence-led progress
The mission is worldwide, while progress should be supported by evidence and honest about current limits.
GLOBAL AMBITION
A worldwide mission, expanding responsibly.
RescueHero is built around a worldwide mission. Rescuer availability follows actual supported availability, so long-term expansion should remain visible, measurable and honest about current limits.

Help Us Go GlobalACCOUNTABILITY & EVIDENCE
Responsibility and progress should be inspectable.
The people responsible for RescueHero should ultimately be identifiable to the public.
More institutional information will be shared on the Transparency and Public Documents pages when it is ready.
Important public claims and progress should be supported by evidence. Detailed impact metrics, methods, and accountability information will appear when their definitions and sources can be verified.
